  1. Hey Amanda,

I've heard all about the issues on traffic, and flights before and after hurricane Irma. There's not much anyone can really do to fix these problems either.
I haven't really looked into or have seen any cyber bullying so it's interesting to me. It's sad to see any form of bullying is still around. I feel like the parents of a child may also have the problem because they have to deal with their child being bullied and find ways to stop their child from being bullies (talking to parents, teachers, and school board). This article has brought more awareness to me about bullying.

    Awesome job on everything! (:

  2. Hi Amanda!
Wow, I really liked seeing your articles relating to Hurricane Irma. I am from the North so this was my first real hurricane and I was fairly clueless as to what was going to happen and how to prepare. Thankfully, I watched the news and did as they recommended. It was crazy to witness the flurry of people buying supplies and food. I had never experienced walking into the grocery store and seeing empty shelves. However, the article I found the most interesting was the one regarding cyber-bullying. I agree that the internet has become so intertwined in the lives of kids that more and more are subjected to cyberbullying.

  3. Hey Amanda,
It's hard to not include articles about the hurricane, I know I certainly did. It's ironic because while disaster was striking certain areas, there were a lot of opportunities themselves formed. I think that as Floridians we can approach these problems differently and in a non-exploitative way, unlike certain companies that try to subtly raise prices in times of emergencies. The cyberbullying article hit home to me because it was a topic that a high school class of mine spoke about regularly, and it can be more harmful. The damage can often last longer, and people can't escape it in the safety of their own homes. With a society constantly walking around with computers in their pockets, harassing others has never been easier and it must be addressed.
